Our primary website is located at https://www.pisupply.com. P&I maintains other web properties as well, and they will all be sub-domains under the parent domain of pisupply.com – from here on collectively referred to as “Our Sites.” Our company can be reached by using the toll-free number (800) 356-1137 or by other means shown on our contact page

This policy discloses the privacy practices for Our Sites. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by Our Sites. It will inform you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through Our Sites, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on Our Sites. We only have access to and collect information that is considered publicly accessible (your IP address, the Internet Service Provider you use when accessing Our Sites, or other non-personal information your web browser shares with the servers running Our Sites), non-personal aggregate information that our digital partners may have access to via third-party cookies, or that you voluntarily give us via online forms, email, or other direct contact with you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your personal information with any third-party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy. All communications like this will provide a means to opt-out.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

We appreciate your use of Our Sites and understand that most of our web visitors are existing or potential customers and partners of ours. For those visitors concerned about their privacy and how their information is used, we are committed to making the following available to you upon request.

  • See what personal data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

If you would like to request this information, please contact us at (800) 356-1137 or by other means shown on our contact page.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via Our Sites, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon in your web browser or looking for "https" at the beginning of the web address. Credit Card numbers are never stored by P&I, instead we use a token system with our credit card processor. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Updates

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page. P&I is not required to personally alert you of changes to this policy. If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately at (800) 356-1137 or reach out to us by other means shown on our contact page.

Registration

You may choose to register an account on Our Sites. To do this, a user must first complete the registration form. Registration is limited to existing or potential customers and partners who are known to P&I. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name, phone, and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on Our Sites in which you have expressed interest or that are required for us to do business with you.

Quotes and Orders

We request information from you during online checkout, or on other quote and order forms. During the registration process your account is linked to a corporate customer account. To buy from us, you must provide additional information (like shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use your information to contact you.

Cookies

We use "cookies" on Our Sites and in HTML-based email communications. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's local hard drive to help us improve your access to Our Sites and identify repeat visitors. Without these cookies, we wouldn’t be able to provide a good experience to you. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, we can improve your experience by remembering preferences or settings that you use, thereby saving time while on Our Sites. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on Our Sites. We do not store sensitive or personally identifiable information in cookies.

We may also use related technologies including web beacons, bugs, pixels, and software tokens to facilitate and improve your use of Our Sites. Most notably, Our Sites may use software tokens (stored securely) to facilitate a single-sign-on log-in process with other sites or services we may integrate with.

Third-Party Cookies & Tracking Pixels

Partners who help us serve advertising on and off Our Sites and analytics companies may also put cookies on your device or use tracking pixels (images) to monitor use or viewing. We use several third-party vendors to help deliver ads for relevant customers, products, and services to you when you visit certain pages on Our Sites or other websites participating in the same ad networks. We may share with third-party ad partners a cryptographic hash of a common account identifier (such as a user ID), to help us measure and tailor ads and services provided to you. Later in this document we provide additional information about one such vendor (Google). Additional vendors we use may include but are not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft, LinkedInMailChimp, SurveyMonkey, and PayTrace. Please note that this Privacy Policy covers only our use of cookies and does not include use of cookies and tracking pixels by any third parties. Further information on those third-party companies can be obtained by contacting us at (800) 356-1137 or by other means shown on our contact page.

Disabling Cookies & Tracking Pixels

Most web browsers and email clients automatically accept cookies and/or tracking pixels, but if you prefer you can change your browser to prevent that default behavior or to notify you each time a cookie is set. These are all referred to as third-party cookies, whereas if you disable first-party cookies also, Our Sites may become unusable. First-party cookies are important for keeping track of your session on the site including our ability to create a cart of products for you to checkout with.

If you do not want to receive tracking pixels, you will need to disable HTML images in your browser or email client, and that may affect your ability to view images from others as well.

The Network Advertising Initiative has also developed a tool that may help you understand which third parties have currently enabled cookies for your browser and opt-out of those cookies. Further information can be found at the http://optout.networkadvertising.org website. Please note however that, by blocking or deleting cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of the features on Our Sites.

You can also follow instructions from your web browser:

Sharing

We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

Additionally, we use outside shipping companies to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.

Links

Our Sites contain links to other websites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other third-party sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave Our Sites and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Google Analytics

Our Sites use a specific cookie to facilitate the use of Google Analytics for both anonymous and logged-in users. If you are a logged-in user, we may use your user ID in combination with Google Analytics to track and analyze the pages of Our Sites you visit and your interactions with us while on Our Sites. We do this only to better understand how you use Our Sites, with a view to offering improvements for all our web users; and to tailor our business and marketing activities accordingly, both generally and specifically to you. Google Analytics cookies do not provide us with any Personal Information.

Learn more about privacy at Google and how to opt-out of this feature by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google Advertising

Additionally, we may use Google Advertising code that allows for certain forms of advertising and other advanced features. Subject to change, the Google Advertising features we may elect to use are Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration, and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting.

These features are used to advertise online; to allow third-party vendors, including Google, to show you advertising across the internet; to allow us and third-party vendors, including Google, to use their first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics) and third-party cookies together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to Our Sites and to report how ad impressions, uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to Our Sites. Data from Google's interest-based advertising or third-party audience data (such as age, gender, and interests) is also combined with Google Analytics to better understand the needs of our users and to improve Our Sites.

You may opt out of such display advertising at any time by visiting your Google Ads Settings page or by installing and running the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Microsoft Clarity

We have installed Microsoft Clarity on Our Sites. Clarity captures the interactions on our website such as how the page has rendered and what interactions users undertake such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, etc. By default, sensitive content such as passwords, usernames, form input, etc. are masked before sending to Clarity. Clarity is GDPR complaint as a data controller.
