Sometimes your workers are just measuring a 2x4. Other times they need to measure a much greater distance. Long tapes, 50 foot and greater, come in closed and open format. Closed tape reels are ideal for indoor use or where there isn't any debris. The open tape reels are a good choice for outdoor applications and most can be easily cleaned with soap and water in the case of mud, dirt, or debris.
